HelloFresh is the world’s leading meal kit company, operating in the U.S., the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, Austria, Switzerland and Canada. They deliver ‘cook from scratch’ meal plans straight to your door, with easy-to-follow-recipe cards and high quality, pre-portioned fresh ingredients that removes the hassle out of food shopping and meal planning.

However, they had a challenge

We started working with the global SEO lead, the wider global marketing team, and also the global affiliate and PR channels to launch a tongue-in-cheek Valentine’s Day campaign for HelloFresh to increase brand awareness and build links to the website. 

Recognising that Valentine’s Day is synonymous with indulgent meals, we surveyed 1,500 people on the dishes that get them most in the mood for romance. Visuals were created from the results, and a landing page built that we could point links to.

And when it came out the oven...

  • We secured 115 backlinks in total to the target landing page
  • Coverage totalled a mouthwatering 76.1 million combined online readership
  • And we don’t mind adding that it was nominated for 2 awards
